Outdoor Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! As most of you know I live in the sticks....most of the residences around the lake are seasonal cabins, and they have ...lets just say...limited plumbing. This is a photo of my neighbors out-house. She has it fixed up so darn cute! It looks like from the outside that the house has windows..but it really doesn't. When the door opens the light automatically comes on...(which is really a nice feature for an outhouse). She even has a little window box.....and she keeps it really clean...I didn't see one spider when I was in there. Hope everyone is enjoying what's left of the summer....I still haven't caught the big bass....but still trying...had one on the line yesterday...pretty exciting...then the line broke!...Better luck next time I guess....For more outdoor fun, click on the Outdoor Wednesday pic on the right and it will take you to A Southern Daydreamer!

  2. Now that's an outhouse! I've been in my share, but nothing as nice as this one. Jacob had so much fun at Itasca State Park last time, that we are going back next June. You'll have to give me directions to your place and we'll pop in for a visit. Maybe you can even join us for a bike ride or trail hike.

  3. That is the coolest frickin' outhouse I've EVER seen! I'd actually like to take a dump in there!

But for real... they don't have plumbing in their cabin? They're living like Little House on the Prairie days?

  5. I have had to use many an outhouse, but I assure it was not like this. What a neat idea, and it at least makes your trip more relaxing.

  8. No you misunderstood. It is Outdoor Wednesday not Outhouse Wednesday. Lol
That outhouse is nicer than a lot of house bathrooms I have been in.

  9. Cindy,

That is the cutest outhouse that I have ever seen. Wait a minute... that is the ONLY outhouse that I have ever seen. If I had to have an outhouse, that would be the one! Way cool!

  11. Hi Cindy,
It's so nice to meet you! I really appreciate your kind visit to my blog. Please come by anytime. You're always welcome my friend!

You have a beautiful blog and I will be back to visit you again soon. ~Lovely photos!
It must be so neat to live in the country.

"Miss Nancy" has a blog called "Southern Lady" Her button is on my sidebar. She makes the most beautiful tassels and she made my rooster guy! She has an Etsy shop but if it's not listed on her blog right now it will be soon with Fall decor'. Leave her a comment and she will make you one. She's super sweet!

    ~Blessings to you, ~Melissa :)
